Privacy Policy

Overview

Jukebox Portal is a Discord music bot and playlist-management service. This policy explains what information the service processes, why it is used, and the choices available to Discord users and server administrators.

Information we process

• Discord identifiers such as user, server, role, voice-channel, and text-channel IDs.
• Server configuration, playlist names, saved tracks, queue entries, volume settings, and feature-plan status.
• Limited Discord profile information supplied during portal sign-in, such as username and display name.
• Technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service, including timestamps, errors, and request metadata.

The service does not request Discord account passwords. Discord OAuth access tokens are used to verify portal sign-in and are not stored as permanent account credentials.

How information is used

Information is used to deliver music features, remember each server's configuration and playlists, enforce permissions and plan limits, secure web sessions, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability.

Sharing and third-party services

Jukebox Portal does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with infrastructure and service providers used to operate the application. Discord processes account and server interactions under its own policies. Track search and playback may use third-party media services, whose own terms and privacy policies apply.

Retention and deletion

Server settings and playlists are retained while needed to provide the service. A server administrator may request deletion of stored server data, and data may also be removed after the bot leaves a server or when it is no longer operationally necessary. Short-lived web sessions expire automatically.

Security and choices

Reasonable technical safeguards are used to restrict access and protect stored information. Server administrators control which channels, roles, playlists, and optional portal features are configured. Users may stop using the service at any time.

Children and changes

The service is intended for Discord users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements. This policy may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
